Setting up a voice over IP calling system should be on the list of things to do for any small or large business. VoIP is cheaper and gives the business owner more communication flexibility then what is found through traditional phone lines. Virtual PBX (Private Branch Exchange) is an idea that has been catching on in the voice over IP world. Virtual PBX occurs when a customer downloads the phone service, which is managed by an outside source (computerworld.com). It is cheap and setting it up is a breeze. Two factors that have gained it popularity.
The problem that many people interested in Virtual PBX are facing is choosing the right service provider. Like everything else, there are a host of different companies that all basically do the same thing but not at the same cost. A feature there may not be a feature included here; you see what I am saying. When choosing a phone service look for:- Set calling plans
- The amount of minutes they include
- One that offers a teleconference feature
- Ease of managing many calls
- Intregration features to other office products that work on a network (fax, print, etc.)
